Battery safety & charging
Read before first use. Always read and follow all battery safety instructions before operating or charging the battery.
Charging
Use the correct charger
Charging environment
Before charging — inspect every time
During charging
Battery usage
Always use only batteries approved for this drone model.
Temperature
5°C – 40°C
Recommended charging
5°C – 40°C
Recommended operating
Avoid > 45°C
& below freezing
Avoid
- Operating or charging below freezing.
- Operating or charging above 45°C.
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Storage
If the battery will not be used for an extended period:
Transportation
When transporting batteries
Water exposure
Crash or impact
Inspect the battery carefully after any crash.
Battery lifespan
Battery capacity naturally decreases over time.
Charging power source safety
Use a reliable, stable power source. Do not charge if the power source appears unsafe or unstable:
Emergency procedures
Immediately stop using the battery if you observe any of these:
- 1 Move the battery to a safe outdoor location if it can be done safely.
- 2 Do not touch a burning battery with bare hands.
- 3 If a fire occurs, use a Class D fire extinguisher where available. If unavailable, large amounts of water can help cool lithium-ion battery fires and prevent spread.
- 4 Contact emergency services if the fire cannot be controlled.
